These five tips will help you enjoy Colombian coffee:

1. Purchase whole bean coffee

You can purchase coffee that has been ground for your convenience. However, ground coffee tends to lose much of its aroma and flavor in short order. To get the best-tasting coffee, you should purchase whole bean Colombian coffee. Fresh whole bean coffee retains its natural oils for maximum flavor.

2. Store your coffee in airtight containers

Whole bean Colombian coffee is sold in foil bags that seal in freshness. However, once you open the bag, the vacuum seal is broken, which means your coffee will begin to degrade due to oxygenation.
